Mahama Finally Uses ‘Papa No’ Tag

John Dramani Mahama has finally embraced the infamous tag ‘Papano’.

The phrase “Papa no” (the man) came about as a result of a social media brouhaha between Tracey Boakye and Mzbel. The phrase implies to a Big man having an affair with both actresses and sponsoring them with apartments, cars, and other luxury goods.

On a tour of some regions, the former president did not only focus on his desire to return to power but the quest to see parliamentary candidates of the party triumph over their opponents.

This, according to him would make the passing of legislature easy and make his administration efficient and effective.

The former president comparing himself and NDC parliamentary candidates to a ‘father and son’ encouraged the electorate to back the NDC and vote both of them into office.

Delivering his message in local dialect Asante Twi, Mr. Mahama said: “woto ma papa no a, ewo se wo to ma oba no”. Which is translated into English as: ‘if you vote for the man, vote for his child as well’.

Mahama’s use of ‘papa no’ at a time the phrase has generated controversy is what appears to be fueling the circulation of the video clip.

In recent times, a former president has been rumored to be the mystery man ‘papa no’ whom musician Mzbel and actress Tracy Boakye are fighting over.
