Mahama Has Just Been Crowned King In Kintampo

News just in to OccupyGh.com indicates that John Dramani Mahama has been crowned king of Kintampo.

John Dramani Mahama, who happens to be the Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) party was crowned on Friday as the Nkosouhene (Development Chief) of the Apesika Traditional area in the Kintampo South constituency of the Bono East region.

Crowned under the stool name Nana Beyeman Kwame Ababio I, Mr. Mahama was taken through the customary rites by the Chief of Jema and Kyidomhene of the Nkoranza Traditional Council, Nana Amponsah Gyan II.

Nana Gyan explained that the NDC, the former president earned the prestigious title and honor after contributing to the community and the kingdom with his projects and policies during his time as President.

Nana Gyan recognized projects such as roads, water, and schools as some of the projects of the Mahama administration.

The chief speaking at the durbar to honor Mr. Mahama, also revealed his dissatisfaction with how the Nana-Addo government have abandoned project started during the Mahama administration

Nana Gyan II took the opportunity and urged his people to vote the NDC into office in the December 7 presidential election to enable him to complete the projects abandoned.

Mr Mahama also present, expressed gratitude to the chiefs and people of Apesika for the honor bestowed on him.

Mr. Mahama assured the community that he would see to it that all projects abandoned would be completed if he elected as president in the upcoming Presidential election.
