A man identified only as Edem has been found hanging at Kenkey Factory a suburb of New Juaben South in the Eastern Region.
The incident occurred Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
“This morning while returning home after I went to look for a carpenter I was expecting to come to my house to work, I saw a white object in some banana farm. I gazed at the object well and noticed it is a human being...
“I made a few steps closer which I saw that the person has hanged himself so I went to tell my father and we both rushed to the police station to inform them. So the Police came to take the body. The person is not known in this area,” Yaw Atimla a witness revealed.
The cause of his action has not been established but a man who claims to know him on anonymity revealed that the deceased might have ended his life over coronavirus.
