In a disturbing occurrence that sent shockwaves through Uganda’s legal system, a male was detained for falsely posing as a woman to take his girlfriend’s law examinations.
After being elevated to the prestigious position of Grade One Magistrate, this incident took place only a few weeks later.
Reliable sources in the Ugandan legal profession claim that the man cleverly planned to pass off as his girlfriend during the legal exams.
Although his motivation for the trick is still unknown, it is clear that he devised a well-thought-out plan to take advantage of the low-security precautions in place during exam sessions.
Although the girlfriend’s identity hasn’t been made public, it’s assumed that she was a prospective law student who was having trouble completing the tests on her own merit.
She and her boyfriend chose to perform an atrocious act of dishonesty that eventually contributed to their failure, rather than looking for real support and assistance.
