A middle-aged man, Kofi, has reportedly drowned and died in Nana Akufo-Addo‘s uncompleted Nsukwao Basin drainage project in the Oriental region.
The sad incident reportedly occurred around 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 17, 2020.
His body has been retrieved by the Koforidua Police and deposited at the morgue, OccupyGh.com has gathered.
Although it has been gathered that Kofi fell into the stagnant water, it is yet unclear how it happened.
However, some residents believed that the unlucky man must have slipped while walking along the slope of the drainage facility.
