A 42-year-old man Daniel Nnamdi who drugged his wife and gave his younger brother Charles Nnamdi a chance to sleep with her has been arrested according to reports privy to OccupyGh.com.
The sad incident took place on Monday, 31st March 2020, Aninri Local Government Enugu State, Nigeria.
According to the report:
The suspect who claimed the pressure of his Mother is getting too much on his family, most especially on his wife, he claimed his wife cry often on the issue but was confused didn’t know what to do than to plan with his younger brother to sleep with his wife.
He narrated, after reaching an agreement with his young brother, he put a sleeping tablet in a drink for his wife while she slept and carry out the shameful act.
The husband who said to have confessed to his wife saying his conscience did not allow him to rest, was arrested by the Police Command Headquarter Enugu State, after his wife made a report to the station, the two families from both sides were left in a state of confusion on the step he has taken.
On the strength of the report, the case is yet to be charged to court, as the suspect pleaded for forgiveness while he said, he really regrets his action, begged his wife to forgive him that he did it, just to safe their marriage.
