In a recent statement, the management of actress Fella Makafui clarified that she was invited by the police on Tuesday, May 22, 2024, as part of an investigation into allegations of unlawful drug sales and promotion.
Contrary to previous reports, Makafui was not arrested.
The statement emphasized that Makafui promptly complied with the police invitation and left shortly after providing the necessary information. Management urged the public, including her fans and followers, to disregard the erroneous reports of her arrest.
During her meeting with the police, Makafui presented her license from the Ghana Traditional Medicine Practice Council and details of her FDA-registered products.
She also provided information on several of her products that are currently undergoing the registration process.
Makafui’s management reiterated her commitment to cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation.
