A market woman has defended President Akufo-Addo amidst criticisms of his economic management.
The woman, who chose to remain anonymous, claimed that the current economic difficulties are an act of God’s will rather than government mismanagement.
“President Akufo-Addo does not sell plantain in the market,” she remarked, implying that the President is not to blame for the daily struggles of Ghanaians.

“Those who do not study the Bible are the ones who blame the government for these hardships,” she added, suggesting that faith and spirituality influence one’s views on the economy.
Despite the President’s advanced age, the market woman commended him for his performance and believed he deserves recognition for his efforts.
Her comments have sparked mixed reactions, with some admiring her faith and others criticizing her for exonerating the government.
