Ghanaian former professional footballer Michael Essien is among the very many who have not given up on the Black Stars as he sends the team a cryptic message.
Sharing on Twitter, Michael Essien has motivated the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of their World Cup playoff against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Essien now retired is one of the best exports from Ghana known for his success with Premier League giants Chelsea.
Essien’s comments come after Super Eagles of Nigeria legend Austin Jay-Jay Okocha labeled the Ghanaians as underachievers.
Now retired, the 39-year-old took to his official Twitter account to post a video of his goal for Ghana against Nigeria.
Essien tweeted with a video of himself scoring against the Super Eagles:
“Good luck”
