Sad news reaching us from Dunkwa-Abasewa, Upper Denkyira East District, has it that two final-year Junior High School students, 15-year-old Dominic Abu, and 16-year-old Enoch Ogo, lost their lives in a devastating accident.

Reports suggest that the pair fell into an abandoned mining pit, resulting in fatal consequences for both teenagers.

The sequence of events is particularly harrowing, as one student fell into the pit initially, prompting the other to attempt a rescue, only to meet the same tragic fate.
