Flexer Gh, a Ghanaian reggae dancehall artist, urged Nigerian actresses to quit using Mohbad’s passing to “catch cruise.”
The artist wrote on his new Twitter account that Mohbad would undoubtedly receive justice, but that the actresses who are taking advantage of the situation by pretending to love and defend Mohbad while merely using it to promote their own brands or to act as angels should stop such acts.
According to Flexer, Mohbad should be treated with respect, and the authorities should be allowed to carry out their duties so that the proper offenders can be apprehended, rather than using the situation as an opportunity to shine or further their own brand.
Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, a Nigerian artist better known by his stage name MohBad,
Nigerians were outraged by Mohbad’s untimely death, and many held his former label head, Naira Marley, responsible.
Some Nollywood celebrities, including Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, were at the forefront of the campaign against Naira Marley, clamouring for the Marlians boss’s arrest and imprisonment.
Such actresses, in Flexer Gh’s opinion, are merely pursuing influence with the Mohbad matter.
He claimed that Mohbad would receive justice, but that it was important to let the legal system work its course rather than leaving it up to clout-seeking, emotionally driven actresses.

Although everyone was angry at him, Flexer had previously stated that Naira Marley might even be innocent.
Heroes fight the hardest battles of their lives. I pray that the Lord keep you safe and strong till the conclusion of this @nairamarly if, in your heart, you truly believe that you had nothing to do with the death of @iammohbad.
“Remain Fierce. You gave him light while all these others who expressed their love for him after his death were unable to identify him. Even if I don’t trust the African system to provide you with it, Imole, may you find true justice. Truth Is Not In Africa. Justice for Moh Bad is sought.
