My Future Was Altered Once I Left The SDA Church, Says Kwaku Manu (Details)

The Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu has admitted that despite being raised in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, also known as the SDA, he has no regrets about ever leaving it.

The actor revealed that he was a member of the church up until the time he transferred to his new church, Mama Vida, and that after that he fell in love with the location and decided to stay a member ever since.

He proceeded by saying that because of his position and the number of people he interacts with on a daily basis, he has to be strengthened physically and spiritually, and Maa Vida’s church has done just that.

“I used to attend the SDA, then I switched to Mama Vida’s church… I stayed put since it’s a suitable and conducive location.

“It’s possible that some listeners will be supportive or critical of what I have to say. I’m a performer. It’s a job that involves many different people. You cannot stand before or lead crowds if your spirit is not powerful and hefty, he added.

I couldn’t have emerged from [obscurity, staying there] when I looked at my home and myself, he added. “I always believe my soul talks to me.

“You realise that while God may have predestined you for greatness, if caution is not taken, humans may suppress it? Although Moses was instructed to lead the Israelites to the Promised Land, he was unable to do so. So, even though you can hear God’s voice, consider whether the church you’re in can help you reach your desired outcome, Manu said.

The actor claims that “the [SDA] church dislikes moviemaking. It’s comparable to wanting to run for president while becoming a Jehovah’s Witness. How is that possible? In order to achieve that objective, you must leave that location (congregation) if you experience that vision.
