Ghanaian gospel musician, Celestine Donkor, has disclosed in her new book, “Beyond the Rhythm,” that she always desired a man with a hairy chest before getting married.
However, her husband, Kofi Donkor, does not have any chest hair. In the book, co-authored with her husband, she disclosed that she had even tried persuading him to use hair growth creams to achieve her desired look but to no avail.
Despite not meeting her physical criteria, Celestine revealed that she had found other inward attributes in her husband that she admires and considers important.
She cited his spiritual growth and support as the most significant attractions for her.
The couple agreed to get married before even meeting for the first time after being connected while Kofi was in Korea.
Celestine highlighted that she was on fire for God and had matured so much in Him that meeting someone like her husband, who was interested in her spiritual welfare and growth, meant everything to her.
Beyond the Rhythm offers an insightful glimpse into the couple’s life journey and their spiritual growth.
The book is a testament to the importance of looking beyond the physical attributes and focusing on the inner qualities of a person when choosing a partner.
