
<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>A Nigerian dad, Olumayowa has recounted nightmare at a Lagos hospital that almost resulted in his son losing one of his hands.</strong></p>



<p>The new dad recounted how a hospital in Lekki put the health of his newborn baby boy in danger because of there insistence on strictly feeding him with breast milk.</p>



<p>The hospital decided to feed the little baby intravenously which resulted to a damage to his skin but was miraculously rectified by another hospital.</p>

<p>&#8220;One hospital around Lekki doesn&#8217;t allow formula to avoid Jaundice. It&#8217;s strictly breast milk at birth. As breast milk wasn&#8217;t coming out properly on the first day , they decided to use other options but insisted on &#8220;No formula&#8221;. We told them he is not our first and we used the &#8220;formula&#8221; for the other kids and no jaundice.&#8221;, Olumayowa noted</p>
