So the news is clear now, Honourable Aponkye has lost the election after standing for an assemblyman for the Adukrom Nima Electoral Area.

Going by the official results from Hon. Aponkye electoral area, a contender, Hon. Abdul Rashid has won the assembly membership.

Even before the official results were announced, a video of Hon. Aponkye jubilating on the streets of Adukrom Nima surfaced online.

Ace journalist Nana Aba Anamoah, who interviewed Hon. Aponkye before the elections has finally reacted to his loss .

In a post sighted by OccupyGh.com, Nana Aba Anamoah has promised to fly to Kumasi to ‘console Aponkye’.
