According to Ghana’s President, Nana Akuffo Addo, when his term ends on January 7, 2025, he wishes to be able to say, with humility, just as St. Paul did in 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
I have finished the race, I have fought the good fight, and I have maintained the faith, Timothy 4:7-8 says. Now, I have the crown of righteousness in reserve for me, which the Lord, the upright Judge, will give to me on that day—as well as to everyone else who has yearned for his advent.
At a farewell service for Rev. Dr. Seth Kissi, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s outgoing chair of the Akyem Abuakwa Presbytery, Nana Addo urged Ghanaians to pray for him and his appointees as they continue to carry out their duties with integrity and humility in order to improve the nation’s circumstances. The service was held in Kyebi, in the Eastern region.
“Pray for me and the people I have appointed to various positions with responsibilities that we will continue to exercise our duties with humility and integrity,” the speaker prayed. Ask God to keep Ghana peacefully together and to help it prosper for progress and prosperity.

I still have trust that the Almighty God will work via wise policies, willpower, and hard work on our side to elevate the fortunes of our country.
He also asked Ghanaians to trust in him, saying that he will lead the country out of its current economic troubles.
“I implore everyone present to have the same conviction that Ghana’s prosperity would be secure under His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. The Lord is in fact leading the fight, he said.
