Nana Ama McBrown has finally joined her family at Media General as she gets to have her first interview on 3FM’s Sunrise – this was a special edition to welcome the TV empress.
Having a chat with the host of the show, McBrown spoke about so many things, including her early beginnings in the movie scene to finally settling on the TV screen as a host.
Nana detailed how she returned from a trip abroad to settle back in Kumasi to start her career.
She noted that she had duly played her part to become who she is today.
Asked about what she thinks about her critics, Nana had this to say:
“I’ve worked, I’ve paid my dues… it didn’t start today, I am not impressing anybody, I am working for myself.
“Whoever is saying things about me I leave that person to God because I know myself and I know I’ve worked my way through here. I didn’t come here for the sake of my beauty and will not let anybody’s opinion about every decision I take condemn my movement… “
