Ghanaian self-acclaimed entrepreneur and part-time musician named Mona Faiz aka Hajia4real was arrested and extradited from the UK to the USA after being charged with a Romance scam of $2M on the 15th of May, 2023.
It was alleged that she swindles over $2 million from older, single, lonely American men and women in a twisted lonely hearts scam, federal prosecutors revealed Monday.
Hajia4real appeared in Manhattan federal court on Monday and pleaded not guilty. It has been verified that Hajia will be released in the upcoming days upon posting a $500,000 bond.
However, New York Post Magazine has made a full-page coverage of Hajia4real over her arrest and scam scandal tagging her with the headline “Lonely Club Scam”.
