A Nigerian man, whose name is yet to be established, has been deported less than 48 hours after arriving in Canada.
According to a post made by a lady called Sassy Funke on TikTok, the man was deported at the point of entry and told to exit within 48 hours.
According to Sassy Funke, the Nigerian man did not disclose in his visa application that Turkey had previously refused him a visa.
This did not sit well with the immigration officials at the Canadian port of entry, who deported him immediately.
Funke said the man’s wife sent her an email containing the heartbreaking story.
She said: “They probably found out after they had given him the visa. They can still deny you even at the airport in Canada. It’s very important to make sure to always make sure to fill out applications properly.”
