Breaking news reaching us at OccupyGh.com indicates that Treasurer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mark Ofori has been shot dead in Takoradi.
According to our source, Mr Ofori was murdered in cold blood at Fijia, a suburb in Sekondi Takoradi of the Wester Region of Ghana.
A family member has confirmed the unfortunate incident, revealing that Mr Mark Ofori was shot without any provocation.
Supporters, members of the NPP and friends of Mr Mark Ofori have since then taken to social media to pour out their condolences to the family.
The Western Region police are on the hunt for the assailants.
