Nurse In Trouble For Taking Selfie With Nvde Pregnant Woman In The Background

A midwifery nurse at Ndirande Health Centre has come under scrutiny by the authorities of a health facility in Malawi after she allegedly took a selfie in a labor ward she caters to.

According to the details, nurse Patricia Malichi took a selfie in the labor wade where a pregnant woman was nvde, ready to take her bath.

A Deputy Council Chairperson of the hospital Akima Chipwatali has said that the nurse deserved a stiffer punishment. Akima revealed that nurse Patricia Malichi infringed on the human rights of every woman in Malawi.

“The interdiction has come at the right time and I feel happy that there is progress in this case. The government instructed that every woman must give birth at a health facility and what this nurse did by exposing a fellow woman’s nudity in a labor ward was uncalled for. What she did will discourage other women to give birth at a health center. She deserves a stiff punishment,” said Chipwatali.

Dr. Gift Kawalazira who happened to be the Health and Social Service Director has said he was happy with the stiffer punishment advocated against nurse Patricia Malichi, revealing that he will make sure he is involved in evaery step of the case.
