Veteran Ghanaian musician, Obrafoue sues American rapper Drake for copyright infringement after sampling “Oye Ohene (Remix)” in the track “Calling My Name.”

Per sources, Drake previously sought permission to use the work but was not permitted. He released the track days later.
Obrafour is craving at least $10 million in damages.
Obrafour is not just going to drag Drake but he’s also going after OVO Sound, Republic Records & Universal Music Group.
Obrafour released “Oye Ohene in 2017 featuring Tinny. The song was a good hit and made International waves.

Drake actually got ignored completely when he and his team reached out and so therefore there was neither an acceptance nor a decline.
The filing of the suit has already been done, will be waiting for a response from Drake’s camp.
