According to information that is circulating, one person has been detained by the Ghanaian police in connection with the murder of Bennet Adomah Agyekum, the proprietor of the renowned Kikibees restaurant.
The suspect, Yandeh Joof, is thought to be the late Mr. Agyekum’s girlfriend. On Sunday, October 8, the deceased was discovered at a home in Madina lying in a pool of blood, according to the police.
He was sent to the hospital right away for treatment, but tragically, he was already dead when he got there.
Since then, the deceased’s body has been placed in the mortuary of the Police Hospital for preservation and an autopsy while the investigation is ongoing. The suspect is also helping with the investigations, the police continued.
The news of the alleged contract assassination of Ghanaian businessman Ben, owner of Kikibees, was all over the media earlier today.
The dead, who was shot and killed a few hours later, reportedly arrived in the nation from Amsterdam in the Netherlands on Saturday night.
