A viral video on social media narrates the story of how loan recovery officers of Palmpay (Nigeria) publicly dragged one of their customers they found in the market for delaying settling his debts.
Their forceful method was necessitated after the cranky customer defaulted on repaying the loan after they had chased him for ages.
Netizens who have come across the video have shared their dissatisfaction, claiming that the agents’ way of getting their money was violent.
Per the circulating video, the young man has taken over thousands of Naira from the loan bank and has not paid back the principal or the interest.
As a result, the loan officers traced him after they learned he had visited the market to secretly buy some foodstuffs.
