Ghanaian footballer Sulley Muntari, who now plays his retirement football at Accra Hearts of Oak has begged the management of the team to pay him nothing above Gh¢1 Per Month.
Sulley was reportedly taking over 1.5 million euros at his last team; Deportivo de La Coruña.
A jump to just Gh¢1 Per Month may be an insult to many but to Sulley, this is his wish.
A board member for Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe made the revelation to Sulley’s request.
According to him, the veteran midfielder insisted on taking such a low amount when he met the Board Chairman of the club.
Muntari joined the Ghana Premier League champions earlier this year and has been a key player for the Phobians.
