Rapper Playboy Carti has been arrested for allegedly strangling his ex-girlfriend.
Playboy’s ex-girlfriend is reported to be pregnant. She told the officers that she was 14 weeks pregnant at the time of the alleged incident on Dec. 20.
Other reports reveal that the woman told police that the rapper pushed her down and grabbed her by her neck and strangled her until she could barely breathe.
Several reports available indicate that the woman claims to be Playboy Carti’s girlfriend of 2 years and has been living together since July 2022.
The altercation reportedly happened after the two were arguing over the paternity of the baby the woman was carrying of which Playboi suggested that she take a paternity test.
According to the baby mama of Playboy, his request was what generated the argument between them and led to an argument, which escalated to a physical attack.
A police report revealed that the woman has visible bruises on her neck, body, and chest at the time of their arrival.
