Earlier today, OccupyGh.com reported of a bank heist gone wrong which left the armed robbers trapped inside the First bank in Abuja, Nigeria.

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has successfully truncated the attempted robbery at First Bank’s branch in Mpape, Abuja, with one of the robbers, reportedly gunned down while trying to escape the bank.
ASP Mariam Yusuf, the spokesperson of the command, confirmed that normalcy has been restored in the area after four of the suspects were arrested and one of them killed.
The Commissioner of Police, Bala Ciroma, confirmed that one of those arrested was a staff of the bank, who was acting as an insider for the four others.
