A piece of new updates sighted by OccupyGh.net from the Ghana Police Service indicates that five (5) persons have been arrested by the security service after they attacked a policeman beating him to a pulp.
The five; are Edward Boateng aged 20 years, Evan Addo aged 20 years, Yaw Kusi aged 22 years, Michael Owusu ages 28 and Boateng Yaw 20 years.
Two other people are reportedly on the run as police continue their search and investigation.
According to details available to occupygh.com as shared by the Police Force, the young men numbering Seven(7) were occupying a Kia Matix taxi cab with registration number AS 9504- 19.

Background
Police were on night patrols in the Kumawu District of the Ashanti Region when they stopped a car to conduct a search.
The persons in the vehicle alarmed got irate and then jumped Corporal Sylvester Berhene who was conducting the search.
All thanks to a swift reinforcement from the police surveillance that save the situation.
