The police arrested a woman for her refusal to allow them to search her handbag as per a viral video of a recent incident in Spintex, Accra.
The lady in question, far from remaining passive, demanded an explanation for the search while recording the entire encounter.
According to the video, the lady was traveling in a Bolt car. She was stopped by Ghanaian police officers who requested to search her bag.
During this encounter, one officer permitted her to document the unfolding situation, while another purportedly took a more aggressive stance, issuing threats of handcuffing and a trip to the police station if she did not acquiesce to the search.
She was apparently apprehended. More details later.
