A police officer has been spotted in the video physically assaulting a suspected drug peddler at Effiduase-Dadease in the Ashanti Region. An eyewitness report from a resident of the town revealed that the suspected drug (wee) peddler was arrested yesterday following a tip-off.
In the video available, the suspected drug peddler in Effiduase-Dadease faced a violent altercation with the police during his arrest.
The incident occurred after a tip-off from a concerned resident, leading the law enforcement authorities to apprehend the individual in question.
Eyewitnesses reported witnessing the suspect being subjected to assault during the arrest.
The video sees a presumed police officer in uniform man-handling the suspect upon his arrest.
