Police Warn Against Violations at Voter Registration Centres

The Ghana Police Service has expressed concern over isolated incidents of law violations at some Voter Registration Centres during the ongoing Limited Voter Registration exercise.

Incidents have been reported in Cape Coast, Central Region, Kukuom, Ahafo Region, and Adugyama, Ashanti Region, leading to arrests and ongoing investigations.

The Police remind the public that the registration exercise is a civic responsibility that must be carried out in a civil manner.

Maximum restraint and adherence to the laws governing the registration process are advised.

Disregard for the law will not be tolerated, and offenders will be dealt with accordingly.
