A piece of news reaching us at occupygh.com indicates that popular Ghanaian rapper Edem has found himself facing charges at the Kaneshie District Court for allegedly being involved in a fatal incident on George Walker Bush Highway.
The unfortunate incident took place around 2 a.m. last Saturday, resulting in the death of a 40-year-old woman.
Despite being rushed to the Police Hospital for treatment, the woman could not be saved.
Edem has been charged with careless driving and causing harm, and he was granted bail in the amount of GH¢50,000 with two sureties.
His plea was not taken during the court appearance, and he is scheduled to reappear on February 15, 2024, before the court presided over by Nana Abena Asor Owusu Amenyo.
