Ghana lost Castro’s former manager DJ Amess yesterday to death on Thursday, 4th June. DJ Amess was said to have died after battling an illness.
However, a close colleague of DJ Amess, Kojo Apreko has revealed what they believe could have been the real cause of Amess’ death.
According to Kojo Apreko, he knew DJ Amess was battling an illness with regular visits to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
He was believed to be battling high blood pressure and issues relating to his knee at the time of his death.
Apreko noted:
“Just yesterday he told me from the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital that his Blood Pressure had come down and he was hoping to come home soon only for me to get a call from his daughter that her father had passed on.“
“I am still shocked because we were in constant communication and I was hoping he would get well soon,”
