Apostle Abraham Lamptey, the Head Pastor of Believers House of Worship International, has urged President Nana Akufo-Addo to issue a retraction and an apology following his recent remarks during a visit to the Mepe community in the Volta Region.
President Akufo-Addo’s statements have stirred controversy, as he subtly reminded the victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage that his visit to sympathize with them occurred despite the community’s lack of support for his political party.
During his tour of the districts severely affected by the disaster, the President assured residents of the government’s commitment to resolving the situation.

However, Apostle Abraham Lamptey has called upon President Akufo-Addo to retract his statement, stating that such remarks are not in the best interest of fostering unity and empathy among Ghanaians.
