Controversial Ghanaian pastor, Daniel Obinim, also known as “Angel” Obinim, has sparked outrage with his latest statement on church offerings.
According to Obinim, God is not pleased with meager offerings of ¢5 or ¢10, and the least acceptable amount in his church branches is ¢20 and above.
In the trending video circulating online, Obinim instructed those who had given such “small” amounts to return to the church to collect their money.
It is unclear if the video is an old one that is remaking its way online or a newly recorded one from his sermons.
However, his statement in the video has drawn criticism from many, who see it as an exploitation of church members.
Just before this viral video surfaced, Obinim had publicly apologized for his past mistakes in running his church, tearfully expressing his regret over losing members and seeking forgiveness. The stark contrast between his apologetic tone and this latest statement has left many questioning his sincerity.
