A war of words has erupted between Rev Obofour, founder of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), and Prophet Kumchacha over the former’s controversial statement that “there’s no genuine man of God”.
In a video, Rev Obofour dared any pastor or prophet to contradict his statement, vowing to label them a “foolish man” and “fraudster”.
He defined a genuine man of God as someone who is perfect, a quality he believes no Ghanaian clergyman possesses.
However, Prophet Kumchacha took the bait on Fiifi Pratt’s show on Kingdom Plus FM, citing Rev Isaac Owusu, Opambour, and others as genuine men of God who are working in the spirit of God to help their church members.
Ghanaians have interpreted Kumchacha’s response as falling into Rev Obofour’s trap, making him the only pastor to publicly disagree with the statement.
Rev Obofour has reiterated his stance, saying he would repeat his words in court if any pastor takes him to court for insulting them.
