Well, so the full gist is that USA singer, fashion designer, and businesswoman Rihanna is officially a billionaire according to Forbes.
Forbes revealed that Rihanna is now worth $1.7 billion (£1.2 billion), primarily thanks to the value of her industry-shaking cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty, which is estimated to be worth $1.4 billion.
Riri has also earned the rest of her fortune from her lingerie company, Savage x Fenty, which is reportedly valued at $270m (£193m), and from her earnings as a musician and actor.
Fenty Beauty was reportedly raking in $550 million during its first calendar year in 2018, beating out other celebrity lines like Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics and Kim Kardashian West’s KKW Beauty.
Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty line has also proven to be a success, raising $115 million in funding this past February at a $1 billion valuation.
The mogul’s fortune comes five years since Rihanna released an album, and despite fans endlessly calling on the singer to release new music.
