At least three people were killed when Russia bombed a children’s hospital in Mariupol, Ukraine, local officials said on Thursday.
“Three people were killed, including a female child, in yesterday’s attack on a children’s and maternity hospital in Ukraine’s besieged Mariupol, according to updated figures this morning,” the city council said on its Telegram channel.

Officials had previously given a toll of 17 injured in the attack.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian President, Joko Widodo, has called for dialogue between Ukraine and Russia, urging that there should be a ceasefire to end the ongoing hostilities. Widodo said that economic sanctions between the West and Moscow could not resolve the ongoing crisis, adding that dialogue remained the way forward.
