The Ukrainian ground force has verified a dramatic video that shows it destroying a Russian tank to pieces with missiles.
The video started circulating last week and was verified yesterday by the Ukrainian army.
In the video, Ukrainian troops are seen tracking a Russian armoured vehicle on the outskirts of the south-eastern coastal city of Mariupol.
The Ukrainian land force then launches a missile strike towards the tank, which hits and blows it up, before a large cloud of dark smoke chokes the air.
The footage was posted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Friday with the message: “Azov in Mariupol continues to destroy the enemy”, and also shared images of the charred remains of the blown Russian tank.
