Hamudat, a 21-year-old woman from Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, died after falling into a private well.
On Saturday, August 5, 2023, at around 2:00 PM, the terrible tragedy took place at Ile-Kangu Compound in the Pakata neighborhood of Ilorin.
The state Fire Service’s spokesperson, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, acknowledged the occurrence in a statement and stated the dead was mentally challenged. He also said her body had been found and given to her father.
A woman named Hamudat, who was around 21 years old, fell into a household well today, Saturday, August 5, 2023, in the Pakata neighborhood of Ilorin West Local Government Area, Kwara State, and was later found dead, according to the statement.
The awful occurrence occurred today at approximately 14:55 (02:55 PM)
“The Kwara State Fire Service quickly responded to a rescue operation at Ile Kangu Compound in the Pakata neighborhood of Ilorin where Hamudat, a 21-year-old woman with mental impairment, had fallen into a domestic well.”Her father, Alhaji Suleiman Issa, received her in safety after the expert firefighters successfully rescued her.
