Yesterday, October 10, 2023, the lifeless remains of venerable Ghanaian statesman E T Mensah landed in Ghana.
On October 1, 2023, in South Africa, the former Ningo Prampram MP passed away following a protracted illness.
The body of E T Mensah was flown from South Africa, where he passed away, to Ghana for burial.
At the Kotoka International Airport Friday night, the politician’s family, friends, political figures, and other supporters came to welcome his body home.
The politician’s wife, Mrs. Loriet Mensah, was seen inconsolable as his body arrived in a video that has surfaced on social media.
The middle-aged widow can be seen sobbing as she walks up to her husband’s body in the crowd.
Politician Enoch Teye Mensah, sometimes known as E T Mensah, was born in Ghana on May 17, 1946.
From January 1997 to January 2017, he served as Ghana’s Minister of Education and a Parliamentary Delegate.
Mensah was born in Ghana’s Greater Accra Region on May 17, 1946, in Prampram.
He left behind his wife and 7 children when he passed away at the age of 77.
