Despite his family’s repeated pleas for intervention, the school failed to take adequate action, ignoring their 20 requests for help.
The bullying escalated from emotional to physical, including a violent incident on a school bus.
Sammy’s heartbroken father recalled the cruel taunts, saying, “They made fun of him for his glasses, then his teeth.
It went on for far too long.” The devastating loss has left a family shattered, with Sammy’s father hauntingly confessing, “I held him in my arms, doing what no father should ever have to do, and it’s all I can see when I close my eyes.”
