Professor Ransford Gyampo, an implicated lecturer in a new document released by the BBC dubbed ‘Sex for Grades’ has threatened to sue the British Broadcasting Corporation.
According to Professor Ransford Gyampo, the BBC has tarnished his image by revealing a wrong message to the masses.
In spite of the fact that the video shows Professor Ransford Gyampo engaging an uncover journalist who was disguised as student of the University of Ghana, the Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Centre for European Studies for the university has decline any wrongdoing.
Professor Ransford Gyampo said in an interview with Citi FM;
“You’ve also seen the video, have you seen anything called sex for grades [in the video]. How can you engage in so-called sex for grade relationship with somebody who is not a student in the first place…, I didn’t see anything like that [in the video] and I have not done anything like that,”
According to the exposé by the BBC, Professor Ransford Gyampo solicited sexual benefit from the undercover BBC journalist who was posed as a student.
