Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has finally revealed why he has stopped composing tribute songs when the need arises.
Citing reasons, he further revealed why he restrained from composing a tribute song for Christian Atsu as well.

Speaking in a live Facebook video, Shatta noted that he has been affected by Atsu’s death has downed him a lot.
He further revealed that although his friendship with Atsu was not as deep as that with Asamoah Gyan, he has been heartbroken about the passing.
“I know people have been wondering why I haven’t done a song for Christian Atsu as I have done in the past.

“But the truth is, I haven’t been able to do it because his passing has affected me deeply, and I find it hard to find the right words to express my feelings.
As expected, the media got blamed as well as he notes:
“I’ve seen the media suddenly start highlighting all the good deeds and charity work that Christian Atsu did while he was alive. It’s a shame that they only start doing this after his death. It’s unfair to him and his memory.”
