Controversial Ghanaian artiste, and dancehall acclaim king, Shatta Wale has revealed a second motive to why he gave out one of his awards at the 2019 4Styte Music Video Awards to Stonebwoy.
According to Shatta, there was a second motive behind it and that was to prove to Stonebwoy and others how much he loves the ‘Ololo’ singer. He also revealed that he wanted to prove to people that he is not violent.
“I have brands that I am working with and I don’t want them to see me as that rowdy type that people are always trying to paint me as,” he said.
The ‘Melissa’ singer made the revelation speaking to Ibrahim Ben Bako on Joy Prime. He revealed further that being a businessman, he wanted people to understand the music industry as a business and not just for fun.
“I am a businessman and I want them to understand that this is a game I’m always playing. I just want the corporate businesses in Ghana to understand that Shatta is just an entertainer and he is ready to entertain anytime.”
