Ex-wife of Acclaimed African Dancehall King, Shatta Michy has finally disclosed why she left Shatta Wale in 2019.

Michy revealed in an interview that after spending several years with the ‘My level’ hitmaker, literally growing up with him through thick and thin, she thought it wise to leave him a year after he proposed to her on stage.

In 2018, Shatta Wale proposed to Michy on stage at the ‘Reign’ concert, and a year later, Michy came out to announce that their relationship was no longer in existence. However, the two have a child today.

“I didn’t leave Shatta Wale because he was cheating, I mean those were all part of the things he was doing but I left him because I wanted him to live. I like the way he is, I don’t want him to change, so I wanted him to feel free and enjoy his life. He has really suffered so he has to enjoy.”
