SHS Student Arrested For Killing His School Principal

An eighteen- year old boy identified as Eze Nwafor has been arrested by the Imo State Police Command in Nigeria for Killing a fifty- year old man known to be his school principal.

The suspect was arrested with the victim’s phone which was tracked to him.

The suspect who confessed to the crime said: “ I killed him because I was suspended from school for one month just because I slapped his son in the class.”

According to him, “His son called me a fool and lied against that I stole his money in annoyance. I slapped him and he reported to his dad who is the school principal” adding that after he resumed back to school, he was made to cut grasses for another 2 weeks when his mates were in class till break time.

Responding to how he killed his school principal, the suspect said, “I reported him to a brother in our street who promised to help me deal with him. We attacked him on Sunday night at his residence and it was during the scuffle the principal died.”

Imo State Public Relations Officer, Orlando Ikeokwu who confirmed the incident said that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
