Sir John Tested Positive For COVID-19 – Reports
According to reports reaching us at OccupyGh.com, former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John has died.
Sir John reportedly passed Wednesday evening at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
According to the report, Sir John tested positive to COVID-19. He reportedly succumbed to complications of the disease while undergoing treatment at the ICU of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
Until his death, Sir John was the Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission.
