Start Expenditure Rationalization In The President’s Office – John Mahama Schools Nana Addo

Former President John Dramani Mahama has asserted that to make things equal, the expenditure rationalization initiative by the Government of Ghana should start from the President’s office.

Asserting that the budget for the Office of the President has ballooned over the last six years of President Nana Addo being in office, to save the country from its recent economic hardship, it will be prudent to start expenditure rationalization from the office of Nana Addo.

Sharing the said details on social media, John Mahama noted:

“The budget for the Office of the President has ballooned, over the last six years, from GH¢700m to GH¢ 3.1bn in 2022. For expenditure rationalization to be successful, it must first start in the President’s office. Substantial savings of GH¢1bn can be made by slashing the budget.”
