A piece of sad news reaching us at occupygh.com indicates that Nigeria’s Super Falcons ex-goalkeeper Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni has died.
The Ekiti State-born goalkeeper reportedly passed away after battling cancer for eight years.
The demise of Aluko-Olasenu was announced on X platform, formerly called Twitter by NFF in a statement.
“We are sad to hear of the passing of former @NGSuper_Falcons goalkeeper, Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni after an eight-year b+ttle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May her gentle soul rest in peace,” the statement read.
